  1. How do I use the ‘Order & Collect’?
    Simple! Download the McDonald’s App and register your details. Find the nearest restaurant on the App. Browse through the menu and select the meal of your choice. Choose how you want to receive your order: Collect it at the Counter for Takeaway, pick it up at the Drive-Thru, delivered to your car via Drive-In or have it delivered to your table through ‘Dine-In’.

    Please note: If you want to collect your meal at the Counter, ensure that you are near the restaurant before you click on ‘Pay Now and Start My Order’.

    For Dine-In, please ensure you are seated at one of the tables and have entered the correct table number. Once you complete the payment for the order, we will immediately start preparing your order and the food will be ready within 5 minutes.

    If you have selected to pick up your meal at our Drive-Thru, we will start preparing your order when you arrive at the Drive-Thru and mention your order number at the ordering box. You must pick up your order at the Drive-Thru within two hours of your payment.

    You can also have your meal delivered to your car with our Drive-In service. Make sure you are parked at the designated parking lot at the nearest restaurant with Drive-In service. Enter the parking lot number and complete your payment. We will immediately start preparing your order and our crew will deliver it to your car.
  2. When do I need to collect my order?
    For Dine-In, Takeaway and Drive-In, we will immediately start preparing your order as soon as you completed payment. Your food will be ready within 5 minutes, so please make sure to be nearby.

    For Drive-Thru, you must pick up your food at the Drive-Thru lane not later than 2 hours after you completed payment. However, specifically for breakfast order, you must collect within the 2 hours or before our transition from breakfast to regular menu, whichever is earlier. Generally, the menu transition will take place at 10.00 a.m. everyday. Therefore, if you arrive at the restaurant after 10.00 a.m. to collect your breakfast order, you will not be able to do so because the order has been cancelled automatically. You will also not be entitled to any refund.
  3. How can I create a new account on the McDonald’s App?
    To create an account, please click on ‘My Account’ and enter the valid email address and contact details.
  4. I forgot my McDonald’s App account password, how can I reset it?
    Just click on the ‘Forgot Password?’ link on the Sign In page and follow the instructions. An email containing further instructions will then be sent to your registered email. Please check your 'Spam' or 'Junk’ folder if you did not receive the email.
  5. How do I know if the ‘Order & Collect’ service is available in my area?
    After you launch the McDonald’s App and select ‘Order & Collect’ service, simply tap to choose from the list of available restaurants with the ‘Order & Collect’ service. If you allow the App to use your current location, it will automatically select the nearest restaurant.
  6. Why is the App showing me a pop up ‘It looks like you’re a little far away’?
    It is recommended that you place your order when you are closer to your chosen restaurant so that you can receive your order right after it’s been prepared.
  7. What if I pay for my order but cannot pick it up immediately?
    Your order will be prepared once you have made payment, so it’s recommended that you collect your order as soon as you can.
  8. How does Dine-In work?
    You’ll have to be seated at a table before you place your order. Enter your table number and confirm your order. Food will then be prepared and our crew will deliver it to your table.
  9. How do I know when my order is ready?
    For counter takeaway, once your payment is completed, you can look out for your order number on the screen above the collection counter in the restaurant.

    If you have chosen to receive your order at your table through ‘Dine-In’, our crew will bring the food to the table number you have entered on the App.

    If you have chosen to pick up your food at the Drive-Thru, read out your order number displayed on your order confirmation page to our crew at the speaker and we will start preparing your order immediately. Proceed to the payment booth to collect your receipt before collecting your meal.

    If you have chosen Drive-In service, our crew will prepare your food and deliver it to your car directly on the designated parking bay number that you have entered.
  10. Can I use the offers or collect McCafé Rewards stamps with the ‘Order & Collect’?
    Absolutely! To claim any offer, click on the ‘Deals’ tab, select the offer you would like to redeem and select ‘Redeem via Order & Collect’. You can only apply 1 offer for each order.

    You can also collect McCafé Rewards stamps automatically within 24 hours with every order placed through the ‘Order & Collect’ as long as you purchased eligible McCafé drinks.
  11. When will I be charged for the order? Do I get a receipt after confirming the payment?
    Payment will be deducted from your credit card as soon as you click on ‘Pay now and start my order’. You will receive a payment notification on your email registered on the McDonald’s App. If you haven’t received an email please check your spam folder. Your final receipt will be given to you when you collect the order at the restaurant.
  12. Can I modify my order?
    Once you have paid for the order, you cannot modify it. If you would like to order more, you can start a new order.
  13. Can I change my pick up option once the order is placed?
    The collection method that you’ve selected for your order cannot be changed once the order is placed.
  14. What are the payment options available?
    The ‘Order & Collect’ service is only applicable for payment with debit/credit card.
  15. Can I save my card for future use?
    Yes your card will be saved automatically for future use when you place your first order. If you want to add or remove a card you can do so by going to ‘My Account’ and clicking on ‘Manage Credit Cards’.

  1. What’s MyMcDonald’s Rewards?
    A points-based loyalty program which sits within the McD App. It allows you to earn points when transacting and redeem points on reward products.
  2. How do I join?
    • EXISTING App users will automatically join when using the McD App
    • NEW App users will join when you sign up upon downloading the McD App
  3. How do I earn points when transacting?
    • All orders placed on McDonald’s ordering platforms are eligible to earn points provided you scan your loyalty QR code before ordering
    • 10 points are earned for every RM1 spent (spend excluding tax)
    • Points round up/down for the nearest 0.05 cents eg. RM15.64 = 156 points & RM 15.65 = 157 points
    • Points are awarded within 24 hours after transaction completed with payment
    • For Drive-Thru: Customers scan or read the loyalty QR code at the Drive thru ordering box and the points will be allocated to your account
    • For Kiosk and Front Counter: Customers scan the QR code* or read the loyalty QR code before ordering and the points will allocated to their account
    • McDelivery, Order & Collect orders will auto-earn points for all orders placed post-login to your account
    • *Note: If you are redeeming an Offer or Reward, you will automatically earn points on all eligible priced items
  4. I forgot to scan. How do I get my points?
    Unfortunately, if the loyalty QR code isn’t scanned, you don’t earn points. This cannot be reversed or applied retrospectively. You must remember to scan on every transaction.
  5. How do I earn 500 bonus points?
    All new & existing customers get 500 bonus points after completing the first loyalty order. (An order where you have scanned your loyalty QR code & completed the transaction). Points are awarded within 24 hours after the transaction is completed with payment.
  6. How do I check my points balance & points transaction history?
    You can check your transaction history in the Rewards section on the McD App.
  7. How do I redeem Rewards?
    You can browse the available rewards in the Rewards section. You can select the product you wish to claim and tap the Redeem button. This will create a reward voucher which can be redeemed by scanning when transacting:
    • For Drive-Thru: Scan or read the code of your redeemed reward at the payment counter
    • For Kiosk and Front Counter: Customers scan the QR code or read the code of their redeemed reward.
    • For Mobile Order & Collect, redeem by choosing “Redeem via order & collect”
    Currently rewards cannot be redeemed via McDelivery.
  8. When do my points expire?
    Points expire 12 months after being earned. You are advised to redeem your points in a timely manner to ensure they do not expire.
  9. Why didn’t I get my points?
    In order to earn points, the member must scan their unique QR code in the rewards section before ordering. The member must remember to scan on every transaction. For McDelivery/ Order & Collect ensure you are logged in to your McDonald’s account to earn points Unfortunately, if the QR code isn’t scanned or you are not logged in then the member doesn’t earn points. This cannot be reversed or applied retrospectively.
  10. Why are my points missing?
    Points are deducted from accounts in two ways; when they are redeemed for a reward or when they expire. The transaction history will show when points were deducted and why.
  11. Why am I not entitled to earn points on McDonald’s Gift Certificate purchases?
    Bulk purchases of McDonald’s Gift Certificates are not entitled to earn points as the user of the Gift Certificates will be entitled to earn these points upon redemption.
