Yeo Jia Yi shared her experiences with Cikgu Liew, a Mandarin teacher who goes above and beyond to support her students both in and outside the classroom. Cikgu Liew is described as passionate, knowledgeable, patient, and caring. She does not only teaches Mandarin but also broadens her students' horizons by sharing knowledge from ancient and modern times. Cikgu Liew encourages her students to participate in extracurricular activities and provides learning opportunities through the Mandarin Society, which helped the student improve their soft skills and become more confident. With Cikgu Liew's guidance and support, the student excelled academically and even won a national championship in a creative writing competition. Overall, Cikgu Liew is seen as a mentor, role model, and friend who has made a profound impact in the student's life.
