Mdm Yeong Kui Mui

The teacher that I wish to nominate is Madam Yeong Kui Mui or I prefer to call her Cikgu as she taught us Bahasa Malaysia unit when I was in my primary school. As a Chinese student, Bahasa Malaysia will always be our headache unit as there are seldom chances for us to speak, write or read Bahasa Malaysia during our daily life. But during my primary 4, Cikgu Yeong becoming my Bahasa Malaysia unit teacher. Her teaching skills is different from other teachers. She loves to use our real-life example when she taught. She always uses her sense of humour when she teaches. Her class will always be full of laugh and joy and we can always expect the unexpected during her class. The day when we were all graduated from our primary school, we all thought that our relationship will end here but it is not. During my middle school year till my university year, we are always keep in touch and will always met when I back to my hometown. I still remember that my first salary is from her. She believes in me and let me to become her daughter tutor while I am waiting for my offer letter from the university. During my university year, she even visited me with her family. Every time when I went back to Sabah, she will always fetch me out and bring me to have breakfast or lunch. She is very concerned about my studies and always provide me with some positive opinions and encourage me to be strong and be positive always. Although for others my story is quite normal but for me these little things are very meaningful and these little things teach me to view the world differently. For me she is more than just a teacher. She is another family member for me and I wish that we can company each other till forever.
