My Inspiring teacher would be Madam Linda Yip. She was my STPM teacher who taught me Geography subject in SMK Scared Heart. I was a chairmen of the Interact club and she was the my advisor, she will always consult me and help me. Why Madam Linda, made an impact in my life is her dedication in helping student to excel in her subject. All teachers of course, would like to see their student pass flying colours. But Madam Linda, would really find time and method to find the best solution for her student to learn efficiently. She would make those clusters of words that look like a dictionary into simple notes like children’s book. She would dedicate her energy to help each and every student, no matter how weak the student were, she would go one by one, refreshing those notes, and helped them get through those difficulties. Most of the time we wears nice outfits to school and sometimes very weird too. She may tie her hair like Chun-Li and wear those retro dress from 70s. While sometimes, She wear those dresses with flowers on her and her hair will tie like Katniss Everdeen, Country girl style. Every time she came into our class, is a totally new outfit. She is cheerful all day long, willing to make friends with the students, never complains about how tough her work as a “Guru Cemerlang” and having those deadline crushing her shoulders as she plays a huge responsibility in the school. No matter what challenges she faces, she’s ready to face it. But what proven her to be so inspiring to me? All teacher work endless hours too, sacrifice their time too just to help their students. Why is she so special? That was when I found out that, the teacher I knew was having her time of her life. As she was going through challengers that was facing in her family. Her husband was getting ill and had to retire from work and the only income that can maintain her family finance was her’s. Not only that, her son’s frequently getting sick and getting to the hospital would mean taking-leave or cancel extra class just to help out her family. I sometimes found her slump down on her table during after class while marking half-way those homework. Madam Linda, try very hard to balance her work and life as like she was on the edge of a cliff. She seldom cry but never show us her tears in front of us. Madam Linda never wanted us to feel worry about her, she see things as everything is going to be fine. That’s why she inspired me, she taught me a very valuable lesson that which made an impact in my life. Do what you love and loved what you do, stay determined and stay true to it. There will be hard times and times that you can’t control, never show discourage. Cause after the rain they will be sunshine.
