She is a special teacher. The story started with my bad results since I was in secondary school. Even the examination was just around the corner, I would not study at all. Therefore, I was arranged into remove class. This condition is continued until I met her. It happened when I was in form one, she is my life skill teacher. The first class where I met her, she was just a normal teacher for me. However, the fate where I was an assistant class monitor turned up that I had more contact time with her. She realized that while I was in her class, I couldn’t understand the overall content. I was amazed that she started to think of some better ideas to teach me. During the lessons, she tried to use a more creative method to teach me and my classmates. She would share with us some extra interesting knowledge to make us thinking more. The more we thought, the more we could relate the extra knowledge to the points that we needed to learn in the textbook. She also used some hands-on experiences as demonstration to us. For instance, in sewing class, she would show us how to use a sewing machine and let us to try one by one. According to her, learning is not just theories, practical method is also important to apply in our daily lives. From her teaching lessons, I was feeling more and more interested in studying. During weekends, I began to do revision at home and did the exercises as much as I could. I would ask her in the class when I encountered some difficult questions. My parents were very happy and satisfied that I was turning into a new leaf. I was relieved that she was always patient to teach me each and every question that I did not understand in details. My study attitude went the same for the other subjects. I improved my language skills as well. I became an active student in class to answer all the questions that were asked by teachers. I didn’t scare to answer wrong, as teachers would explain for the correct answers and these answers would bear in my mind. Before the examinations, I would try to take note of the hints and did more revisions. During the examinations, I would double check for every question. I was surprised and excited when I was announced for scoring higher marks in the class. Due to my determination and hardworking, I succeeded to get the results with flying colours. I was grateful that she never gave up on me. She still continued to give us some extra tuition classes and I was willing to attend the classes. She was strict in teaching, and she would always ask questions by having quizzes to make sure that all of us could get the overall knowledge. To me, she is an irreplaceable teacher that I respect until the end of my life. She hoped all of us can enter university one day or being a successful person. The most important is, to be ourselves no matter who we are. She will be our supporter as always. Her encouragement makes us to study even more hard, so that we would not disappoint her. Thanks to her, I am studying in a top university with my desired course. I was grateful that she was a part of my life. I hope that she will be happy to read and hear this sincere speech from me. Because of her, I am becoming a better me. TEACHER IS THE BEST.
