Cikgu Linda ... is better than she thought, at least in our eyes, she is an excellent teacher during our Form 6 study life. She is an experience Geography teacher as she has been teaching for 28 years. She loves her job very much because she said that she enjoys teaching her students and willing to solve their problems whether in their academic or personal problems. Let me take my experience as an example. Actually i am introvert and still feel a bit shy when have a talk in front of people although i become more courageous if compare to my secondary school life. But one day, i was selected by her as a leader in running a presentation ceremony for Geography coursework. I was shocked and scared that i could not qualify for the task, but fortunately, she was by my side and gave me encouragement and advised me about the ways to run this ceremony and believe in me that i could done it well. Because of her support, i started to believe in myself and try my best to communicate and discuss with them about the details of the ceremony. Although sometimes i faced difficulties, fortunately they were solved successfully through teamwork and well discussing. Because of this experience, i have learnt the importance of effective communication in group discussing. Finally, i was so excited and grateful because ceremony was done successfully. I was so thankful to her because she gave me this chance to become more braver and boost self-confidence. She inspires that confidence and effective communication are the keys to achieve and succeed everything. Now, i believe that i will be brave enough to stand in front of people and share my thoughts. Another story i want to share is about how she take care of her student. My best friend, Ru was came from Marudi to study in Sibu. Since she rent room here and lived alone, she was not so take care of her health and diet. She just ate fast food and sometimes ate three meals irregulary. As a result, she fell sick frequently and even suffered from hepetitis. After Cikgu Linda knew her situation, she was very worried and got chance to advise her how to stay healthy. Cikgu Linda always share some medical knowledge and tips with her and even introduced her health talk so that she will kept healthy and focused on her study. She also advised me to take care and keep on eyes on Ru so that she will eat meals regulary and advoid junk food in daily life. After that, Ru became more careful when taking her meals and slept enough. Her actions inspirit me that how important is the role of the teacher in advising and taking care of her students. Her caring and concern let us feel warm and blessed. As a Geography teacher, Cikgu Linda plays vital role in teaching us so that we can score the paper well. She is coordinator of Geography STPM for Upper Six and chairman of the Geography committee, so she tries hard and strives to play her role in guiding us. She always teache us seriously in the class and also listen to her students' problems patiently. Sometimes, she is humor and play jokes with us to active classroom atmosphere. That's why our lesson always lively and cheerful. She teaches us in interesting ways so that we will not feel boring when studying Geography. She usually shares some study ways and important tips with us so that we can study and understand the lessons well. She is willing to have tuition with us after school. Furthermore, she also tries her best to help those students who are not so doing well in their exam. Before STPM exams, she always find time to do the revision with them although her house is far away from school. Because of her hard word, she won excellent Teacher Award Sarawak in 2016 and Guru SERASI in 2017. She also published books such as "Penulisan Kertas Modul Penggal 3" in 2013, " Penulisan Buku Rujukan Geografi STPM Penggal 3" in 2014, and "Penerbitan Buletin Geografi STPM- Guru Cemerlang". These books usually study by students and other Geography teachers as reference. In addition, she always take care of students' welfare and well-being, that's why she is one of the most popular teacher among the students. She inspires me that responsibility, serious and caring ate the morals that we should hold when doing anything without require return. Her kindness, helpful and obligation cause us including other teachers feel warm and comfortable when get along with her. Well... maybe i cannot express well about how excellent and kind she is, but these all are true. I wish her always stay healthy and live happily. " Cikgu Linda, we all bless u and... LOVE you..."
