From SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEBANGSAAN DATUK PANGLIMA ABDULLAH SEMPORNA

Pada tahun 2015, seorang guru wanita berbangsa cina telah menerima penempatan untuk meneruskan kerjaya beliau di sekolah kami iaitu SMK Datuk Panglima Abdullah Semporna. Pada tahun ini saya masih berumur 15 tahun dan akan menduduki PT3 Pada ketika itu. Seperti yang di war warkan oleh guru guru yang lain beliau merupakan seorang guru yang rajin kerana kami melihat beliau menyediakan bahan pembelajaran untuk membantu para pelajarnya. Pada masa yang sama beliau juga terkenal sebagai guru yang garang kerana kedengaran beliau sering memarahi pelajarnya, apa sebab yang menyebabkan beliau marah, none of us know the reasons cause we afraid with her on that time but when I was form 4 in 2016 I know her as our sporting, cheerful and a great teacher not as teacher yang always marah kepada pelajarnya tanpa sebab yang perlu untuk memarahi pelajarnya. Pandangan saya dan rakan sekelas terhadap beliau berubah kepada yang lebih baik pada ketika itu. Bagaimana beliau menjadi inspirasi kepada saya untuk menjadi seorang pelajar yang cemerlang? Pada suatu hari, ketika hari peperiksaan dalaman berlansung beliau datang ke kelas saya dengan kertas jawapan fizik kami yang telah di semak oleh beliau... Seperti yang saya katakan guru saya seorang yang rajin, before exam week finish, she already finished to check our answer paper. On that time she enters our class and all of us like had a tachycardia ??. I think i am not the worst one in my class, maybe? but the first thing she said when she enters our class is "Halimah come here, see your punya kebodohan, why you punya graf salah" ( shouting with her Chinese accent from the back of our class cause she enters from the back door), she looks very disappointed with me and right after she left our class I was crying while answer my biology exam papers... When I come home, I was crying and told my sisters that my teacher was scold me, and you know my sister reponse like this " why you crying?, you should grateful that your teacher scolded you, that's means your teacher trust you and care for you, remember you not a clever student, it will remind you to not do the same careless mistake again". And after heared some advice from my sister, I become spiritful person to study hard and want to make my family and teacher proud of me eventhough I am not a student harapan sekolah, can u imagine how dumb was I.. The most subject that I want to get an A+ is physics cause I want to prove to my teacher that she is not wasting her time to teach me and make her proud of me but I only get an A- for her subject. But my teacher still proud of me, other than my family she was very happy when I received my SPM slip. Who knows someone that not harapan sekolah get an 9A and 1B+ in spm?. Other than my sister that always reminds me to study, my teacher always told me to study hard so that I can get a good result in spm. Other than my sister, my teacher inspired me to become a great student. Until now I still contact with my teacher, inform her how was my pointer in asasi and still need her help to teach me in certain topics of physics subject. And everytime I told her, she always said that she proud of me and tell me "see finally you become a great student, if teacher didn't scolded you and biar u saja, maybe u tidak akan sedar" ?. Actually my teacher is not garang tetap beliau seorang yang tegas dalam mendidik para pelajarnya untuk menjadi yang lebih baik. Pada Pandangan saya seorang guru yang sayang kepada muridnya adalah guru yang tidak membiarkan muridnya dalam kegelapan sebaliknya mncari Jalan Untuk membantu mereka like my teacher that always patience to teach me some topics that unclear to me evnthough she already teach me?. Sebagai pelajar kita perlu lah mengambil sesuatu itu secara positive, marah tidak semestinya benci, baik tidak semestinya sayang, bak kata pepatah belum kenal maka tak cinta?. Saya menjadikan beliau sebagai inspirasi saya kerana beliau bukan lah seseorang yang mementingkan pujian dan pangat tetapi seorang yang ikhlas dalam mengajar para pelajarnya. Pada hari penyerahan anugerah pelajar cemerlang, beliau juga mndpt anugerah dari sekolah kerana berjaya mengahsilkan 3 orang pelajar mendapat A dalam subjek physics pada tahun ketiga beliau mengajar di sekolah kami, tetapi beliau tidak ingin menerima anugerah tersebut di atas pentas sebaliknya bersama guru guru yang lain Untuk mempersiapkan majlis anugerah tersebut. And this year, my teacher berjaya mengahsilkan 8 orang pelajar mendapat A dalam peperiksaan SPM and get an A+. That's how my teacher inspired me and her name is teacher Lee Mei Chi. I love her and I hope she realise a message (hidayah) from Allah and back to the true path which is Islam, religion of peace.
