My wife is a teacher. Her name is Normizan. She started teaching in 2008 in SK Pahit in Grik , Perak. Then in 2009 she moved to Kuala Lumpur to be with me. She teaches English and ICT. She spent a lot of time at work , busy thinking about her pupils and how to make them understand and pass the examinations. I know she is tired at times but I ignored that. I don't understand why she needs to go to schools on Saturdays or school holidays just mark books, open the computer lab for her pupils and volunteer to conduct courses for other teachers. For the past three years, she has been actively running courses under her PPD as a facilitator or speaker to promote ict in classrooms. She took online courses and one of it is under the US Embassy and Iowa State University. When we went out she is busy looking for presents for pupils as their incentives when they get good result or simply attend school. My wife is a very simple teacher. She might be average but being her husband, I know she has made some differences in her students learning. Her efforts to continuously improve herself is something I should acknowledge and I want to acknowledge her efforts by nominating her as Guru Inspirasi McDonalds.
