Teacher, who is a teacher? A teacher is someone who teaches. The Oxford Dictionary defines teacher as "A person who provides instruction or education" however a teacher is more than that. After parents, teachers are the people who plays a great role in a child's life. A teacher inspires and motivates children like no one else. School is the place where a child gets education officially. Without teachers it is impossible to get education and good teacher provides quality education. This is a story about my teacher, who inspired my life. My teacher, My Favorite Teacher, Teacher Ruby. Teacher Ruby is currently working at SK SERI MACHAP, it is located at Melaka. Sadly, I haven't seen her for quite a long time since she lives there now. I only took tuition classes from Teacher Ruby but she is the one who inspired me the most compared to all the teachers I had and I am turning 22 this year. Teacher Ruby, is young lady who is very clever and intelligent. She teaches all of us so well that we all can understand during her first explanation itself. Let's say, if we don't understand it she wouldn't mind to repeat herself for hundreds of time. She is not just a teacher but our friend too. She has never counted when it comes to her students. As our exams neared we spent late night studying at her home, she would even cook for us and let us stay at her place. It wasn't only us who would stay awake late hours but also her, she would stay awake and guide us with the exercises and past year questions. Teacher Ruby was like our second Mom. She teaches us, guides us, motivates us, inspires us, she gave our life a new meaning. She made us understand the importance of education and influenced me to study. I have even considered becoming a teacher because of Teacher Ruby. I conducted tuition for primary school students while waiting for SPM results amd I tell you teaching is really difficult. To make a child understand something is very challenging. I understood it takes a warrior to be a teacher and that being said, Teacher Ruby is a true warrior. I even got an A for the subject she guided me on. No matter how far Teacher Ruby is now she will always be in my heart. I will never forget her dedicated towards me and her other students. I am a Diploma holder and she still remains as my favourite teacher.
