My teacher is no ordinary English teacher, He raised me from being a simple student, to a candidate debater to represent Malaysia and finally to be one of the (as people say) strongest Head Girl in school. He teaches in numerous ways, and was even able to change the most quiet classes into lively ones! Sure every teacher could do that, but to me, even until I finished school, he has always been like a friend, a dad and of course the best teacher. He still keeps up with our well-being up until now and he still helps by sharing his experience during his university life and even his working experience. Without him, I truly would not be able to be the strong person I am today, especially in terms of facing my own fears. This is because he is always determined to push us to our limits if he sees that we have potential in something. I love drawing, although I'm not that talented and so does he. If you check out his instagram account, @a.melancholic.fool , you can see all the drawings he has done, especially during last years inktober. One thing I admire about his drawings is the amount of passion he puts into them. He would always draw something with a message that he wants to convey. Sometimes those messages are for us, his debate children. Sometimes they are for the public. There are times where he is very strict with us, but he will always 'pujuk' us after. Just like a dad. I really hope he will be nominated this year, because I have always wanted to give him something, but I havent really figured out what. Lastly, I have always had the problem or struggle of being content with what I have because in the debate family I have, some of them are studying overseas, and I have always felt jealous. However, whenever he notices me feeling under the bush, he always tells me that I'm doing great, even if I am studying locally, which is sometimes just the kind of push to get me back on my feet.
